I have had the privilege to work with YMCA Victoria Discovery Camps for the last two and a half years and the whole team looks forward to assisting the Y Discovery Camps on their journey towards NetZero.

I was honoured to attend the The YMCA Bridge Project Breakfast 2023.
The Y’s Bridge Project empowers vulnerable young people from the juvenile justice and prison systems and provides them with opportunities to successfully integrate back into society.
Everyone makes mistakes and the Y believe's that all young people deserve a second chance. With the right support, young people who've been involved with the criminal justice system can go on to become positive members of society.

Almost 300 attendees made up of people from corporate, government and community sectors; all united in their support for the Bridge Project.
The inspiring and moving stories we heard from three program participants demonstrates true courage, determination, character, resilience and grit, as well as how purposeful work can shape a young person's life, and our own.
I particularly enjoyed listening to Dr Francesca Maclean talk about Social and Sustainable Procurement and how organisations can adopt new ways of thinking when it comes to driving social impact and meaningful outcomes.
Great to share a table with Brendan Smith and Michelle Cross. Big thanks to Emma Hoppe and all the dedicated event organisers for putting on a great event and Mick Cronin and the entire team behind the project.
